Are you one of the many people who suffer from low back pain? Then this is the series for you! We will start with learning to use the breath to relax, and then progress each week with more yoga poses that stretch & strengthen your back so that you can live your life fully and comfortably.
This series is based on the study made by the NIH (National Institute of Health) on yoga and low back pain, co-designed by leading yoga authorities Gary Kraftsow and Robin Rothenberg (Nan’s teachers). “Seventy-eight percent of the participants of a recent National Institute of Health study who followed The Essential Low Back Program experienced a significant reduction in their pain levels in just 12 weeks. In addition, they gained life-long tools to help keep their backs strong and restore their overall well-being.”
Your instructor, Nan Palmer, has over 20 years of experience teaching yoga, and has studied with some of the world’s best teachers. She is certified by the American Viniyoga Institute at the 500 hour level. In addition, she is certified by Rothenberg to teach the Essential Low Back program.
