Enjoy 50% OFF All of our recycled glass suncatchers during the month of August. There are several designs to choose from - Dragonfly, Heart, Sunburst, Om, Butterfly and Celtic Knot.
When a visionary from St. Vincent de Paul saw a small mountain of glass growing off the freeway, he decided to recycle it instead of see it go to a landfill. Thus the Aurora Glass Foundry was born, owned and operated by the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Lane County, Oregon. Since then, Aurora Glass has become a powerful resource for the community, recycling old windows and other waste glass that previously landed in the dump. All the profits are returned to the community in the form of assistance for homeless and low-income people through emergency services, housing, jobs, training, and other charitable endeavors.
Each suncatcher comes in its own recycled box - perfect for gift giving. These cheerful recycled glass suncatchers will add grace and beauty to your home all year round. Each hangs from a looped hemp cord finished with Czech glass beads.
While supplies last.

Summer Reading For me summer reading means reading books for pure enjoyment - not necessarily to learn. Circle of Grace by Penelope Stokes is both.I was immediately drawn into the story of four female college friends who keep in touch over 30 years through a circle journal that makes the rounds between the women. The book goes back and forth between the time periods and has a section focused on each character. At the end they are reunited where it is discovered that not everything written in the journal was the truth. Without exception, each of them has added to or deleted from the truth of their real lives. An excellent story about friendship and the power that lies in honesty and vulnerability.
