Physical Healing
Lime has antiseptic, antibacterial, and astringent properties. As such, it aids healing of wounds and infections. Like Lemon, Lime essential oil has fever reducing action as well as its effective germicidal action, so it's a good oil to use to aid in treating colds and fevers. It stimulates the immune system, and stimulates circulation. It has a toning effect on oily skin and hair.

Lime eases indigestion, heartburn, and nausea. It has a cooling effect on fevers and can help ease coughs and various respiratory disorders. It stimulates the immune and nervous systems.

Refreshing and lively Lime Oil is used to encourage clarity, direction, awareness, concentration, and liveliness.

Suggested Uses
Lime Oil is a strong germicide and astringent, a wonderful air disinfectant and freshener. It can be used in cleaning solutions for its clean scent and disinfecting action. Try it in an aftershave, or a lotion for oily skin. Bath, massage, sauna, skin care, aromatherapy vaporizer, or as a spray mist.

Blends Well With
Sweet Basil, Clary Sage, Lavender, and all other citrus oils — especially Lemon.

Safety Information
Lime Oil can cause photosensitivity so do not apply to the skin prior to exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet rays. It can cause irritation to sensitive skin — always dilute.
