Aroma Much richer in aroma than ground cinnamon. Warm, Peppery, earthy, spicy, bright yet slightly woodsy, sweet.
Physical Healing Cinnamon Leaf is an oil to be used with extreme caution. Do not use it in any "on the skin" application. Save its power for the vaporizer, candle lamp, or lamp ring.
Cinnamon Leaf oil is an extremely strong antibacterial and antifungal oil, a wonderful addition to air cleansing blends in the winter. When inhaled, it serves as a respiratory and circulatory stimulant and antiseptic. It is useful in inhalation blends for bronchitis, pleurisy, can raise body temperature when you are chilled. Cinnamon Leaf is wonderful for the type of flu that leaves you shivering.
Cinnamon Leaf is often used to combat constipation, exhaustion, flatulence, lice, low blood pressure, rheumatism, scabies, and stress.

Suggested Uses Blended with any of the coniferous oils (i.e., fir, pine, spruce), it makes a wonderful winter holiday blend.
Blends Well With Geranium, Grapefruit, Lemon, Sweet Orange, and Ylang Ylang III.
Safety Information Avoid use during pregnancy or with children under five. The essential oil of Cinnamon Leaf is a mucous membrane irritant and strong skin sensitizer. Avoid in alcoholism, in hemophilia, in prostate cancer, with kidney and liver problems, or if taking anti-coagulants (blood thinners). Cinnamon Leaf may induce menstruation or stimulate childbirth contractions.
Cinnamon Leaf Oil can cause photosensitivity so do not apply to the skin prior to exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet rays. It can cause irritation to sensitive skin — always dilute.
