One of Laurie’s roles as a Holistic Health Practitioner is to help discover the root cause of health concerns and to assist the body back to its natural state of homeostasis — the ideal balance between all major parts of our being. She specializes in Energy Medicine and hands on energy healing, using both research based therapies and intuition. As humans, we are multi-dimensional in nature. We operate from physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions simultaneously. For true health to occur, we must learn how all these dimensions interact and affect our overall health. Healing comes from within. But healing can be initiated from an outside source. Laurie’s approach to well-being incorporates the use of natural and complementary modalities to assist you in achieving your personal health goals. The empathic stance of a good practitioner often brings strong emotions to the surface. With the use of well-practiced guidance skills, Laurie enables her clients to work through their feelings positively and productively. Laurie is also a certified Professional Life Coach and a certified Numerologist — using the Pythagorean system.
Laurie's favorite things are trees—Dancing with Trees. A person can learn a lot by observing these woody giants. I’ve learned to be respectful of the earth and its natural resources. As so eloquently spoken by The Trees of Endor in J.R.R. Tolkien’s book, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, "Trees purify the air; they also purify the mind . . . if you want to save your world, you must save the trees.”
Being respectful of the Earth and its natural resources, Laurie's goal is to leave the slightest footprint possible on the planet; while at the same time, making a lasting impression on its inhabitants — one that is positive, uplifting, constructive, and healing. Politically, she is an active member of the Green Party. Laurie respects all spiritual paths and traditions. She is both a teacher and a student of purposeful living. A few of Laurie's favorite pastimes include cultivating sacred awareness, writing, hiking, travel, reading, and the peaceful ritual of tea.
